Come Join Your Neighbors in the Upper Iroquois Watershed Initiative

We’re looking for concerned citizens in the Iroquois River Watershed to help us protect and restore the Iroquois River and its surrounding waterways.

Vision

Ensure an ecological and economically healthy Iroquois River watershed for today and generations to come. A watershed plan will prioritize areas of concern and allow additional funds to be leveraged towards projects for ongoing water quality improvements.

Purpose

To develop a watershed management plan for the Upper Iroquois River watershed.

Funding

A two-year planning grant from IDEM for $134,653. Funds are being used to employ a watershed intern, monitor water quality, prioritize critical areas of the watershed, and develop a watershed management plan.
